Everyone is welcome at Pioneer Works, and we strive to create an inviting and inclusive environment for all visitors. To this end, we’re currently in the process of implementing changes to make our entire building ADA accessible as part of our Capital Campaign Improvement Plan, which is set to be completed in January 2025.
Pioneer Works does not currently have air conditioning (AC) in the Main Hall, but uses large fans to circulate and cool air throughout the space. In the absence of AC, we strive to maintain a free and public garden, provide free ice water to all guests at programs, as well as public access to smaller air-conditioned rooms in the building. There are medics and trained staff onsite for all of our programs—if you are feeling overheated or uncomfortable, please let us know so we can assist you. Reach out to email@example.com with questions or concerns.
Please note, Pioneer Works will be undergoing capital construction in 2024, which will include the installation of central AC. Thank you for your patience as we work toward improving the infrastructure of our beloved 19th-century building.
Covid-19 Safety Warning
The health and safety of our visitors and artists is our top priority. Proof of vaccination and masks are no longer legally required but are strongly encouraged for all visitors. If you feel sick, have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, or trouble breathing, we ask that you stay home.
