Group Tours
Pioneer Works offers guided tours to groups of eight or more throughout the year. Guided tours include general building and organization history and a walkthrough of the space, including a brief overview of current exhibitions. Group tours can be customized upon request in the areas of science, technology, music, or art exhibitions. Your group can also request studio visits with our artists-in-residence upon availability.
K–12 Tour
The Learn and Engage team leads free, hands-on tours of Pioneer Works for students from Kindergarten to 12th grade. Before each visit, discussion-based pre-tour workshops revolve around themes in our current exhibitions. On-site, our guided tours through Pioneer Works’s historic building and exhibitions immerse students in exploration, observation, and conversation. Afterwards, students participate in an art making workshop that connects concepts and themes explored in the exhibitions.
