Jessica Vaughn
Visual Arts Residency

Jessica Vaughn is a visual artist working in sculpture, photography and public installation. Her multimedia practice looks to create images and objects that point to complex relationships of belonging and dispossession in contested and desired urban spaces. She has exhibited in spaces nationally and abroad, was a visiting artist at Project Row Houses, Houston, TX and an artist in resident at the Center for Photography at Woodstock. She was a 2012-13 participant of the Whitney Independent Study Program. Jessica received a BHA from Carnegie Mellon University in 2006 and an MFA from the University of Pennsylvania 2011. At Pioneer Works Jessica will continue her current body of work in sculpture and photography.
