Pioneer Works Supper Club is a dinner series created to celebrate local chefs as culinary artists, and serve as a community gathering around a unique dining experience.
This edition of Supper Club features Nick Curtola, Executive Chef of Williamsburg’s Michelin-starred restaurant The Four Horsemen, and James Beard 2022 Semi-Finalist for Best Chef in New York State.
Join us for the first dinner in the series returning to our garden at Pioneer Works in Red Hook, Brooklyn, and experience our new fall exhibitions Charles Atlas: The Mathematics of Consciousness, Anya Kielar: Shadow Box, and Umber Majeed: Made in Trans-Pakistan.
Please note: This dinner will be outdoors at communal tables and will follow all current COVID safety guidelines.
Nick Curtola, originally from the Bay Area, found his way to New York City after cooking in London, Copenhagen and Italy. Before he landed his current position as head and opening chef of Brooklyn restaurant The Four Horsemen, Nick held positions at Camino, a James Beard award-winning restaurant from Chez Panisse alum Russell Moore and Franny’s, a Brooklyn institution praised for its use of highly seasonal ingredients and humble but precise cooking.
Nick has received a Michelin star as well as a semi finalist James Beard nomination, and a glowing 2 star NY Times review along with much praise from other news sources both here and abroad for his work at The Four Horsemen.
Pioneer Works Supper Club is presented by Chandon.
