About the Chef
Flynn McGarry began cooking at age 10, started a supper club operating out of his mother’s home at age 12, and staged in top restaurants in Los Angeles, New York, and Seattle before he was 16. In 2014, Flynn was the cover story of the Food and Drink Issue of The New York Times Magazine, and in 2018, at age 19, opened his first permanent restaurant, Gem.
