A Benefit Concert for the ACLU

Ben & Jerry’s, along with Gabriela Hearst and YOLA Mezcal, are excited to announce a first-of-its-kind benefit concert in support of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and their work to protect civil rights and civil liberties for all. Nine-time Grammy legend Sheryl Crow headline the event at Pioneer Works, and will be joined by a stellar line-up featuring Mark Ronson, St. Vincent, Maggie Rogers, Taylor Meier, Mon Rovia, Joy Oladokun, Andrew Wyatt and more. Music will be arranged and directed by Rob Moose with Cody Fitzgerald.

Creatives for Freedom benefit concert is operating on a sliding scale ticket approach to help with accessibility. Every ticket level guarantees entry to the event, including complimentary ice cream from Ben & Jerry’s and light bites from The Butcher’s Daughter.

This event is presented by Goodnight Tonight, and all ticket sales go to Goodnight Tonight. Goodnight Tonight commits to donate the full listed ticket price (not including any service and venue fees or taxes), per each ticket purchase to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), no maximum or minimum, for every type of purchased event ticket listed below.

The venue is standing room only and includes the following features:

  • Gender neutral bathrooms
  • Wheelchair access to concert space
  • Limited seating available upon request

Additional info for ticket buyers:

  • If you plan to arrive by car, there are no private parking lots in Red Hook, although there is typically street parking.
  • If you plan to take public transportation, the closest subway station is the F/G Smith-9th Streets, which is approximately a 25 minute walk. The B61 bus also drops off one block away on Van Brunt.
  • If you plan to arrive by Ferry, the NYC Ferry has a route that stops nearby. However, you will want to arrange an alternative transportation home from the event, as ferry service stops at 8:22pm.
  • There will not be a coat check on site, so please plan accordingly.

About the show:

Doors will open at 6pm with bites by The Butcher’s Daughter, ice cream from Ben & Jerry’s, mezcal tastings by Yola Mezcal, alongside the Pioneer Works bar featuring City Winery. IDs will be checked at the bar point of sale.
