Community Lunch: Banchan Story

Join Pioneer Works staff, artists-in-residence, and friends in our garden for lunch.* Each lunch will feature various cuisines from New York. This month’s lunch features Banchan Story, a Korean culinary studio that brings light to Korean cuisine through fun and informative culinary experiences.

Lunch will include a beverage, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options.



Temple-Style Lettuce Salad with Summer Kimchi Dressing (vegan):
Grape tomatoes, doenjang soybean paste, rice vinegar, gochugaru pepper flakes, sesame seeds

Japchae, Glass Noodles with Colorful Vegetables (vegan, gluten-free):
Sweet potato glass noodles, shiitake mushroom, sesame oil, sesame seeds

Roasted Kimchi and Grain Salad with Yuzu Dressing (vegan):
Wheat berries, pearled couscous, quinoa, toasted almond

Greentea Mochi Cake with Lemon Buttercream Frosting (gluten-free):
Sweet rice flour, matcha powder, lemon zest

Korean-Style Limeade:
Made with sugar-preserved whole limes


*In the event of inclement weather, lunch will be moved inside the building.
