Join Pioneer Works staff, artists-in-residence, and friends in our garden for lunch. Each event spotlights a local chef or culinary organization. This month’s lunch features chef DeVonn Francis of Yardy.
The lunch menu will include jerk chicken; an assortment of pickled treats; roasted plantain; grilled cabbage with a cucumber, mint, and coconut chutney; and carrot cake. Lunch will also include a beverage. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available.
Yardy is an event and production company with Caribbean origins, focused on making meaningful stories through food and art. Our desire is to create and stage experiences that recognize the dinner table as an indelible site for artistic and social engagement. We bring people together to explore heritage, encourage play, prioritizing the communal and familial.
