Black Pus with Burning Star Core and Eartheater

Black Pus is the one man band of Lightning Bolt drummer Brian Chippendale.

Burning Star Core is the experimental music project of artist C. Spencer Yeh. Originally conceived 1993 in Cincinnati OH, the project is currently based in Brooklyn, New York. Yeh’s Burning Star Core project is known for its unique blend of musique concrète, ambient, drone, and psychedelic music. His albums A Brighter Summer Day (2002), Blood Lightning 2007 (2007), Operator Dead… Post Abandoned (2007) and Challenger (2008) received favorable write-ups from critics.

Under the pseudonym Eartheater, Alexandra Drewchin is a New York based self produced multi instrumentalist, composer, choreographer and vocalist who’s unpredictable and varied sounds are unmistakably watermarked by her delivery and production. Even though she had a rigorous classical training in violin, Alexandra is not tethered to an instrument and has been rapidly evolving her use of software and electronic minutia. She’s shared bills with the likes of Lee Scratch Perry, Jenny Hval, and Actress.
