Our ability to support artists, writers, educators and scientists pursuing experimental projects depends on your support. Your contributions allow us to produce interdisciplinary programs, publish exciting work by new writers and offer residency space in a collaborative environment.
We rely on a mix of individual, corporate, and foundation investment. Pioneer Works is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization; your donation is tax-deductible and we will email you a receipt for your gift.
The Narrative Art Residency invites writers, publishers, filmmakers, and those working in expanded mediums to pursue story-driven projects with dedicated space.
The Narrative Art Residency program offers writers, publishers, filmmakers, and those working in expanded mediums to pursue story-driven projects with dedicated space; informational visits with literary and art book publishers, editors, and agents; access to our facilities; and participation in our monthly Second Sundays open studios. The residency provides space and support for research, production, and the presentation of work, with access to on-site offerings, which include our recording studio, virtual environments laboratory, kilns, and dark room, and a print lab. Additionally, the program enables access to relevant sites of research and informational visits from a network of trade professionals. As part of the greater Pioneer Works community, residents engage with a rich cross-disciplinary group of artists, technologists, scientists, and educators, and with the general public through a range of public programming.
