[Sold Out] Zine Making with Kyung Eun You

Press Play is a book and music fair celebrating the merits of independent publishing and the dissemination of the arts through publication, recorded sound, and their expanded mediums on December 10. Join Kyung Eun You to make one sheet zines for distribution at Press Play Fair!

Date: This in-person workshop will meet once on Saturday, December 2 from 1-3pm.

Price: $10

Audience: Open to all.

Materials: Paper and markers will be provided for those who wish to draw by hand. Participants who prefer to work digitally should bring their own laptops. Limited number of laptops will be available on request.

Accessibility: The class will meet in the Science Studios on the 3rd floor, which is not wheelchair accessible. We'll be near located near a single occupant gender neutral bathroom. Masks are encouraged but not required. ASL and CART are available by request (if possible, please email us one week in advance so we have time to coordinate with our access workers). Kyung Eun You is a Korean visual artist based in New York. Kyung Eun is currently a Book Artist-in-Residence at the Center for Book Arts in New York. She received NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship in Drawing/Printmaking/Book Arts from New York Foundation for the Arts in 2020 and Artist’s Books Residency Grant from Women’s Studio Workshop in 2019. Her work has been exhibited and published in the US, UK, Hong Kong and Korea.
