Meditation for Creative Expression

In this workshop, Lavender Suarez, former Pioneer Works Music Resident and sound healing practitioner, will guide participants through gentle breathing and movement meditations combined with expressive writing and drawing prompt exercises to assist in facilitating a reflective therapeutic experience. Based on principles of art therapy, this class is for anyone, artists and non-artists alike. Lavender will also play meditative recordings of sound baths she has led throughout the workshop to further deepen the relaxation process. At the conclusion of the class, participants will leave with new meditation and creative skills they can use in their daily life.

This event will take place via Zoom. A meeting link will be emailed by 12pm on 4/23.
