MSHR is a collaborative project by Birch Cooper and Brenna Murphy. The duo utilizes digital sculpture, analog hardware, and ceremonial performance to build and explore systems as a way of manifesting ecstatic sensory zones. MSHR emerged from the art collective Oregon Painting Society in 2011 and has exhibited and performed at: Upfor, Portland; Kunsthaus Langenthal; Postmasters Gallery, New York City; Musee des Artes Creteil; Cell Projects, London; Transmediale, Berlin; The Peckham Pavilion, 53rd Venice Biennale; Kunstverein Dusseldorf.
