Jason Saager is a painter from Mesa, Arizona who currently lives and works in Brooklyn. He received a BFA in 2007 from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA in 2012 from Hunter College. He also studied at the International School of Painting and Drawing in Umbria Italy. He is a recent recipient of the Richard Marnin Kaye scholarship for painting. At Pioneer Works Jason Saager created new oil paintings heavily influenced by renaissance and religious work depicting meditative dream landscapes.
